Next week, the Intersolar Europe, the world’s leading exhibition for the solar industry and its partners is starting for the 26th time. From May 31st to June 2nd, more than 1,000 exhibitors expect over 40,000 trade visitors from all over the world. PFALZSOLAR is exhibiting in Munich again and looks forward to three exciting days. Under the slogan “Together for a greener Future” the company which is a 100% subsidiary of a German Energy Provider, presents itself as strong international partner for PV Project Development, EPC and O&M.
“The worldwide PV-markets are changing with high speed. There’s no place to notice this better than at the Intersolar in Munich”, says Thomas Kercher, CEO of PFALZSOLAR. He underlines: “In such a fast moving market environment, stability and economic security are as important as innovativeness.” That’s why PFALZSOLAR has been pursuing a sustainable strategy of growth for many years now. At the same time, the company has set high standards for itself: “We’re consistently optimizing our services in all areas: Development, Engineering, Constructing as well as Operations and Maintenance. We have to avoid any kind of standstill.” Explains Thomas Kercher.
In 2016, PFALZSOLAR has realized PV projects with a total capacity of nearly 50 MW, 28 MW of it in Great Britain. During last years’ Intersolar it was already obvious that not only the “Brexit” but also an extensive change in the British renewable Energy law would lead to a clear slow-down of the PV-market in UK. the world’s leading exhibition for the solar industry and its partners is starting for the 26th time. Apart from this, since the beginning of this year, we’re active as an EPC contractor mainly for PV power plants on industrial and commercial rooftops in the Netherlands.”
But also the German PV market is still playing a major role for PFALZSOLAR. Especially the residential and industrial segment is gaining more and more importance. “We notice a strong growth within the residential sector”, says Thomas Kercher. “And the customers’ interest for storage solutions is continually expanding. By now, we install nearly every 2nd residential PV power plant with battery storage. Besides, PV is becoming more attractive for owners of large scale rooftops. Therefore, we’re really excited to see which new products and concepts for this sector will be presented at the Intersolar Europe.”
