PFALZSOLAR BUILDS PV PLANT ON OPEN-AIR SOCCER HALL IN CARLSBERG

PFALZSOLAR builds PV plant on open-air soccer hall in Carlsberg
With the building of a 98kWp photovoltaic system on the roof of the “WF – Arena am Wasserturm” in Carlsberg, PFALZSOLAR scores another hit for environmentally friendly solar power in the region. 310 high-performance solar modules provide energy every day.

The open-air sports arena follows a holistic climate-friendly concept: together into a sustainable future. From the very beginning, the use of renewable energies was an integral part of the planning of the sports arena and is a matter close to the heart of the client, Tolexan gGmbH, which is represented by Christian Mombaur. “We are very pleased to have found a reliable partner in PFALZSOLAR, with whom we were able to implement the project at eye level,” says Christian Mombaur. Mr. Mombaur is actively involved in climate protection in the region, supports among others the “Future Workshop Climate Protection Carlsberg” in the field of renewable energies and shows that sustainability is fun.

“Climate protection affects us all and it often begins on our own doorstep. True to our slogan #WeLoveSolar, we were able to make our contribution and thus meet our responsibility for future generations – we were able to show this with this project,” says Dominic Lauer, Head of Private and Business Customer Sales at PFALZSOLAR.

The construction of the PV roof system was also a special technical feature. “With this PV system, the exact substructure planning and the long cable routes were a particular challenge. After all, this system is intended to provide very good service for 25 years and more,” says Ruben Nick, project manager at PFALZSOLAR, who is responsible for the PV system together with his team. The east-west positioning of the PV system was the perfect choice for this roof, because this allows the sun to ” move along ” during the course of the day and achieve a continuous yield.

“The project represents PFALZSOLAR’s vision and shows that we can actively help shape the energy turnaround, and we are particularly proud of this,” says Dominic Lauer.
